More than 117 kilos of cocaine found in Prague grocery store

Czech police seized a consignment of bananas from Columbia containing more than 117 kilos of cocaine found in Lidl Supermarket located in Prague’s Zbraslav. According to the first estimates, street value of this shipment could be more than 35 million euros.

The information has been confirmed by the spokesperson for the National Anti-drug headquarters, Barbora Kudláčková.

The Customs Administration says that the shipment was very likely to end up in the southernmost district of Prague by accident.

The composition and purity of the substance are now to be analysed. Experts will determine the street value of the entire shipment which could be more than 35 million euros.
