Fifty four hooligans arrested after rioting during football match

As the Czech football season begins, riots and clashes of football fans start as well. During today match between Sparta Praha and Baník Ostrava, fifty-four football fans were arrested due to their affray during and after the match.

After the long anticipated match ended in a draw and the hosts saw the brawl between the fans, hundreds of cops were deployed to sustain the situation. According to the police, five cops were injured, as well some of the security guards and three of the hosts.  And apparently one cop was even bitten by one of the fans. All of these actions, as well destroying the stadium and using pyrotechnics, led to arrest of fifty-four hooligans, mostly from Prague.

According to the owners of the stadium, the damage the fans have caused is worth about thirty thousand crowns.
