Anežka Drahotová wins her first bronze medal for Czech republic

Nineteen-year-old Anežka Drahotová had received a bronze medal in race walking. It is the first medal for Czech republic at this year's European Championships in Athletics.

In a 20 km (12.43 miles) racewalk Drahotová had a good tempo and throughout the race, she seemed she had a great chance of winning gold, but in the last two kilometres, she had a three second loss and was outstripped by a Ukrainian racewalker Olyanovska (faster by one second) and Russian Alemberkova (faster by twelve).

Congratulations to all three and we hope for the more medals fo Czech republic.
