Civic Democratic Party demands referendum about euro

Civic Democratic Party has initiated a petition both in paper and online form, demanding a referendum on whether to keep the "crown" or change to Euro.

Even though Czech republic is a member of the European union, it still doesn’t use Euro as its currency. But the problem is, that its acceptance is more or less inevitable and still coming. However, the petition, which has gathered around sixty-two thousand signatures, wants the government to hold a referendum on euro’s acceptance or to ask the EU to make a permanent exception, for Czech republic.
