Czech T-mobile branch withdraws offensive TV spot

Recently the TV was full of T-mobile TV spots, which offered the customers to come and change their old phone for a new one. But one of these spots has been found very upsetting and offensive, leading to a withdrawal of the spot.

In the commercial, an older man stumbles upon a strange man, speaking Polish and selling fake and broken devices. The spot has been found extremely offensive towards people from Poland and received wide critique from polish media and the ambassador, residing in Czech republic.

Czech branch of T-mobile company has withdrawn the spot and apologized in the media. Even though the commercial has been found unethical, T-mobile didn’t mean to offense anyone since they hoped people would take it easy and with a sense of humor.
