Police wants Pešák’s immunity lifted for him to face charges

Senate received a request to lift immunity of Milan Pešák, a blind senator for Civic Democratic Party. Police seeks to prosecute him, for allegedly unfavorable sale terms of land, along with other 39 former city councilmen from Prague 11. Unit for Combating Organised Crime leads the investigation.

“The investigation is conducted based on suspicion of breach of a duty. Total damage was preliminary estimated at CZK 20 million,” said Police on Wednesday.
