As the grand opening of the Blanka tunnel is still ahead of us, local skateboarders don't see a boundary in the opening date, road blocks or a possible fine.Posted at 1:30 am on November 12, 2014 by Michal Citterberg
Fresh asphalt, adrenalin rush and a possible taste of forbidden fruit had caused many people, especially skateboarders and roller skaters, to sneak into the tunnel and see for themselves how their money were spent. Police now has safety patrols that keep the tunnel under surveillance and is said to arrest one group of intruders everyday.
Due to these intrusions, police has considered possibilities of keeping people out of the tunnel. One of the possible ways was a concrete wall, making a better road block, but that option has been denied. The only precaution still remains a fine for intruders and surveillance patrols in the tunnel.
