United Launching New Flights to Newark

Starting in June 2019, the world's third-largest airline will operate a seasonal service between Newark in the U.S. state of New Jersey and the Czech capital.

The new route will be regularly operated by a Boeing 767-300 aircraft in two class configuration. It is a third seasonal service between Prague and the United States – American Airlines and Delta already offer direct flights to JFK and Philadelphia.

The company has announced the following schedule:

June 6, 2019 through October 4, 2019, daily

UA188 Newark (EWR) 6:05pm Departure → Prague (PRG) 8:25am (+1) Arrival
UA187 Prague (PRG) 10:10am Departure → Newark (EWR) 1:30pm Arrival

According to estimations made by the Václav Havel Airport, planes on the route could carry around 43 thousand passengers each year.
