Taxi Praha, Prague’s largest taxi service, has successfully acquired Tick Tack, a subsidiary of Student Agency Holding, along with its eco-friendly branch, Green Prague.

Now under the management of Taxi Praha, the combined fleet totals around a thousand vehicles operating in the Prague area. Tick Tack, which was established in the fall of 2013, initially operated with a fleet of Audi A6 executive cars. It later introduced Green Prague, a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative, expanding its fleet to include around 200 vehicles running on compressed natural gas.

Despite these efforts, Tick Tack never achieved profitability, as stated by Student Agency Holding owner Radim Jančura. However, he emphasized Tick Tack’s significant contribution to enhancing the service quality and transparency of other taxi companies in Prague. The financial details of the acquisition remain confidential.
