The University of New York in Prague (UNYP) is set to host Czechia’s largest English-language TEDx event for its seventh edition on October 21. The event, themed “Keys to the Future,” will focus on sustainability and resilience in the face of recent global challenges. It will take place at the UNYP Arena and feature 15 expert speakers from diverse fields, including the environment, AI, wildlife preservation, music, self-development, and more.
The lineup includes IT innovator Wendell Brown, AI consultant Mike Bugembe, cybersecurity expert Adéla Klečková, climate activist Šimon Michalčík, adventurer Arthur F. Sniegon, Startup Kitchen founder Kateřina Syslová, Vasky shoe-making firm founder Václav Staněk, consultant Pavlína Louženská, Michal ‘Radar’ Vrátný of ‘Železná koule’, piano virtuoso Jan Čmejla, and the twin singer-songwriters of Amistat. Additionally, the event will feature speeches on self-development, psychology in business, and wellbeing from HR and recruitment guru Blake Wittman, psychologist Marlene Svela Øvrebø, and Mindset Mentors founder Šimon Steffal.
TEDxUNYP aims to foster deep discussion and connection, offering ample opportunities for interaction with speakers during lunch, coffee breaks, and an afterparty at the nearby Stages Hotel. The event is a hub for expats and English-speaking Czechs interested in sharing ideas and igniting learning and discussion.
