The former mayor of Pardubice, Martin Charvát (ANO), has been taken into custody, accused of manipulating public tenders involving the city and its companies. This information was disclosed by Charvát’s lawyer, Pavel Jelínek. The state prosecutor had proposed custody for three accused individuals, with the court deciding on Charvát first and deliberating on the others.
