Prague’s historic Wenceslas Square is set to host a spectacular event this November 17th, marking a high point in the city’s celebrations. The “Concert for the Future,” now in its eighth edition, promises an evening of exceptional musical performances and thought-provoking speeches, under the overarching theme of “sustainability and inclusivity.”

The concert will feature a diverse lineup of artists, including the talented Bára Poláková, songwriter Rodan, and the popular band Pilot. Notably, the event will also see performances by Igor Orozovič and Aneta Langerová, the band Buty, and rappers Vladimir 518 and Lipo, ensuring a blend of genres and styles that cater to a wide audience.
Adding to the musical extravaganza, Adam Pavlovčin, the winner of the Slovak Superstar 2021, will perform the iconic “Prayer for Marta,” while Vi Tranová, a multi-talented artist with Vietnamese roots, will present the Czech national anthem.
The event isn’t just about music; it also serves as a platform for influential voices. Speakers include renowned architect Eva Jiřičná, actor Jan Cina, journalist Alica Sigmund Heráková, Catholic priest Tomáš Halík, and Chief of General Staff Karel Řehka, among others. Their speeches are expected to touch on critical issues of our time, resonating with the theme of the concert.
